In life there are some things that you cannot change, things that you cannot control. Its funny when you ride out the high and find yourself in the wake of that wave that you rode for such a long time. Friends have moved on, lovers came and went. Things have worked out, things didn't work out. In the end you find yourself wondering where did all these people go, where did you go? Others have made it, other are still trying too. Don't worry they say, you have your whole life ahead of you. What is the meaning of all these trials and tribulations? What is the purpose of life? Why do I think I am destined for great things and feel like it should have happened by now. Sadness, darkness falls upon me for I know that I have a great light inside of me but haven't been given the opportunity yet to let it shine. Sitting alone by myself after visiting a lover in Philadelphia, should be on a high, but I'm at a low. I guess that's what life is, a serious of highs and lows and I guess you just have to cherish the times when they are good and the people that are there for you when the times are bad.
